But the global pandemic may have been a turning point. New green recovery policies have the potential to decrease our 2030 emissions by 25% and put us on a new line that limits temperature rise to that critical 2 degrees. But what does the journey Between the Lines look like? Achieving these goals will require innovative solutions in every sector of our economy, but none may be more challenging and impactful than personal transportation.

Michael is the Deputy Managing Director for Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (oTIS), where he leads the staff in developing strategies and implementing policies to build safe and equitable multi-modal systems across Philadelphia’s diverse and vibrant neighborhoods.
