177: Cheers to Preparing Confident Performers (A Summertime Chat with Janna Williamson)

Since episodes 064-066 (Preparing Students for Performance) consistently rank in my Top Ten downloads, it made total sense to revisit that series this summer....and, because my friend, Janna Williamson, is THE go-to voice for many teachers on that topic, it made total sense to invite her to chat all things performance prep with me.

Encouraging and Positive

Never Miss!

I always appreciate Christina’s insight - even if it’s not something immediately relevant to my teaching life at the moment. It’s always nice to get different perspectives and to hear new insights. Especially given how isolating this job can feel. No matter the topic, I always feel inspired by each episode. At the end of the day I WANT to be a highlight of my students’ childhood but it’s easy to get bogged down by the frustrations - sports schedules, lack of practice, random bad attitudes, loss of materials... I can lose perspective. Each week Christina points me to that bigger picture! 😊
