    Victoria Bach: IIHF World Champions, Olympic centralization and exploring her Indigenous heritage

    Victoria Bach is a member of this year's IIHF gold medal winning Canadian Women's Hockey team.  She is one of the young stars added to the national team ahead of next year's Olympics.  Victoria was a standout at Boston University where she holds records in all-time goals, points, most goals in a single season and most points in a season. She is the first woman in the program's history to reach the 100 goal mark (moving her ahead of her Team Canada teammate and captain Marie-Philip Poulin)
    She starred with the CWHL's Markham Thunder as a rookie and is now part of the PWHPA appearing in Dream Gap Tour games.

    In this episode Victoria talks to Jamie about how being smaller in stature drove her to prove others wrong, how she balances her sports with education, and how she is exploring her indigenous background and giving back to the community.

    Renee Pickett is a certified AFAA personal trainer, health and fitness speaker and Spartan World Championships athlete.  After starting her career in the fitness industry as a Zumba trainer she has been involved in the design and launch of the Strong Nation program as a Master Trainer. 
    As a way to further push her own limits she turned to added success in obstacle course racing.  She is an active fitness trainer, influencer, model and an involved mother of two teenagers.

    Corinna Coffin is a professional obstacle course racer, registered dietician and fitness coach.  As an accomplished multi-sport athlete she has stood on the podium at the 2020 Spartan Games, Tough Mudder X, Spartan World Championships and Spartan Stadion.  She has been a CrossFit Games team competitor, triathlete and college lacrosse player.  
    She is also the last female reigning champ on the television show Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge.

    Kat Leone is an entrepreneur as both the owner and designer of Vull Sport athletic apparel. She is a 5X CrossFit Regional athlete and is seen as one of the hardest workers in both her sport and the sports apparel business. Kat attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in both LA and San Francisco.  What began as an effort to make clothing that stood up to her hard driving lifestyle has become a nice business success story.

    Mike Wardian is a legendary marathoner and ultra-marathoner. In addition to a lengthy list of podium finishes at marathons, half-marathons, 50k /100k and 100 Mile races, Michael has set numerous world records including the World Marathon Majors (7 Marathons in 7 Days) and Israel National Trail Crossing.  He was a featured competitor on the Spartan Games, In 2020, Wardian won the Quarantine Backyard Ultra, running nearly 263 miles over the course of 63 hours without sleeping in a repetitive neighborhood loop to follow social distancing guidelines
    He has held records for fastest marathon time while pushing a stroller and fastest marathon on a treadmill.

    Alysia Rissling: Performance through Self-Awareness, Grit and Olympic Training

    Alysia Rissling is an internationally top-ranked bobsleigh pilot with Team Canada.  She has been a multi-sport athlete having played basketball and track in university before pursuing a career in bobsledding. She made history as the first women to pilot a 4-man sled in an official race that had an all-women crew.
