    Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987)

    Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987)

To many of us, Hawaii is a distant paradise.
Thousands of miles away, we envision sandy beaches, blue water, drinks with umbrellas, and beautiful women in grass skirts to greet us as we exit the plane.

To those that live and fight crime in Hawaii, each day is an adventure.

They drive Jeeps, shoot guns, wear little to no clothing, fight drug lords and contaminated snakes, have impromptu casual sex, and carry around bazookas in public with no repercussions.

That's how you fight crime in paradise.

Santo and Blue Demon vs. the Monsters (1970)

Santo and Blue Demon vs. the Monsters (1970)

To really enjoy luchador movies, we must go to a place that I call Horror Mexico.

Horror Mexico is a place where monsters exist, where terror is a common occurrence, and where Masked Wrestlers walk down the street, with a girl on each arm, just daring those monsters to come out of hiding so that they can punch them in their horror faces.

Today we enter Horror Mexico for the first time on the show and talk about the most beloved Luchador of all time, El Santo, the Saint, the Man in the Silver Mask.

    Secret Agent Fireball (1965)

    Secret Agent Fireball (1965)

There’s something about being a Secret Agent that people just love.
Danger, excitement, fast cars, alcoholic beverages, smooching and of course, being able to dress really, really well.
That’s the sign of a good Secret Agent movie.
Which brings us to "Secret Agent Fireball"

A EuroSpy movie that wants to be a James Bond movie, but without the acting, writing, directing, stunt work or even intellectual property to do so.

    You have been warned.

    UFO Target Earth (1974)

    UFO Target Earth (1974)

The Seventies were a weird dang time.  From Nixon, the Vietnam War,  the Zodiac Killer, Charles Manson, Disco, Jaws, Bigfoot and of course, Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

UFO Target Earth was made 3 years before Spielberg's seminal flying saucer film, but it is light years ahead in incoherent plot, poor acting and Commodore 64 generated computer graphic weirdness.

You don't have to be high to understand this movie, but it honestly might help.

    Count Dracula's Great Love (1974)

    Count Dracula's Great Love (1974)

When it comes to vampires, and especially the King of the Vampires, Dracula, you want someone who will kick ass, take names, snap your neck like a pencil, and steal your girl.

With this Dracula, however, we get someone a bit different.

Brought to life by the incredible Spanish horror maestro, Paul Naschy, this version of Dracula comes across as a bit weak, a bit needy, with low self-esteem and high body fat percentage.

Let's see what Emo Dracula is all about, shall we?

    Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory (1961)

    Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory (1961)

Life is hard out there for werewolves.
You've got full moons, silver bullets, smelly fur unless you spend a lot on shampoo, and there's that whole killing other people thing as well.
If one were a werewolf, I would think that a dormitory full of young girls would be the perfect place to hang out. It's dry, it's warm, and it's filled with beautiful yummy things to kill!
It's like a Golden Corral for lycanthropes!
Join Hunky Dr. Alcott and see if you can guess who the werewolf in a girl's dormitory is!

B Movie meets Biography

I have listened to 4 of the episodes so far, and they are awesome! Bill does a great audio version of the movie! So, it doesn’t matter if you have seen the movie before, you will still enjoy it. But wait there’s more. He also does a biography of one the movie’s stars. The biography is interwoven with the story! Bill does a lot of research about the highlighted star. I highly recommend that you try his podcast!
