    Well, bingers. We've come to the end of the recap of Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel. Claire and Kelleigh start the episode with an update on the HFPA's newly-approved "reforms" and the critical response from Times Up before wrapping up this problematic docuseries. While the documentary could have been an introspective look at the cycle of poverty and ignorance of mental health, it wasn't. Its narrative was misleading, its attention given to the web sleuths was undeserved, and its sensationalism of Elisa Lam's story was tragic. Hear their thoughts on the unhealthy interest in the hotel, the ridiculous conspiracy theories, and the cyberbullying of Pablo Vergara. They also explain the results of the autopsy and toxicology reports while highlighting the importance of destigmatizing mental health issues.
