    Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes

    We didn't really "Walk a Mile" so much as gymnastic-ed a mile. Olympic Gold Medalist and local gymnastics gym revolution starter Dominique Dawes invited us into her Rockville gymnastics and ninja gym. I definitely impressed her with my couch-to-balance beam skills, but we also had a thoughtful and thought-provoking conversation about how her experience with sports as a kid still informs her business and life to this day.     Wolfgang Puck opened "The Source" in 2007 (RIP) and since he's been the only "celebrity chef" who doesn't live here to maintain an important presence in the DC dining scene.
