i had a great Time Talking to Martin who actually started a new jiu jitsu fight format here in Montreal , Quebec , CANADA. Some may know Jiu Jitsu just became legal in Quebec in late 2023. what does that mean now ? Huge Opportunities in bjj competition here in here Quebec. What Martin has done is now being a new format of jiu jitsu competition that i think will not juts be huge in Quebec but all of Canada. i love training Jiu jitsu but sometimes you risk yourself of overtraining or even getting hurt? Do you still train jiu jitsu if you are hurt ? Do you take a couple of days or weeks to stop your bjj training ? what are they right and wrong answers for jiu jitsu training ? this is a hard call ! i aint no DOCTOR but listen to what i have to say after training for almost 3 years in bjj. i hope this bjj tips can help some of you out there or even leave some comments and give me your recommendations

I entered my 2nd BJJ Comp at almost 38 in the blue belt master division. i was still a little bit nervous with my jiu jitsu game. This time i give a full breakdown of my bjj basics. Sometimes just using the common Bjj basics will help you win matches. it doesn't need to be complicated . Just applying these few jiu jitsu basic Techniques it allowed me to have a much greater success this time around. i will try my best to explain all my bjj basic techniques and i hope this can even help others or even a bjj beginner. Was my jiu jitsu perfect , probably not but having the opportunity to have your matches recorded and re-watch them gives you better insight on where you went wrong. For me Winning a medal at a jiu jitsu comp is not the important thing. I find looking at your mistakes over and over again will only improved your jiu jitsu game. i am by no means a bjj athlete but i hope these jiu jitsu basics techniques help out white and blue belts.
