    H&Dee Abroad - We're Moving Abroad...But Don't Know Where!

Enjoy this Bonus episode of my conversation with Herman and Dee on the Blaxit Global YouTube channel.

Herman and Dee (@handdeeabroad) are a couple of empty nesters who are planning to move abroad. They've been married for 25 years and have two grown children who are now living on their own. They've always dreamed of living in a different country, and now that their kids are gone, they feel like it's the perfect time to make the move.

But Herman and Dee have a problem: they can't decide where to move! They've been doing a lot of research, but there are so many great countries out there, that it's hard to choose just one. They're looking for a place that's affordable, has a good climate, and is friendly to foreigners. They're also interested in a place with a rich culture and history.

Herman and Dee will share their story and their journey to finding the perfect place to call home. They'll talk about the factors they're considering when making their decision, and they'll give you some tips on how to choose the right country for you.

If you're thinking about moving abroad, this conversation is for you!

Natalie Wester: Mid-life Reimagined in Lourinhã

Natalie Wester: Mid-life Reimagined in Lourinhã

I'm so happy to share this episode of the Blaxit Global podcast. In this episode, I reunite with Natalie Wester who was featured in the Condé Nast article I wrote, How to Retire in Portugal: A Complete Guide, and our popular Moving Abroad Over 50 panel on our YouTube channel.

Natalie  Wester is a former second-grade teacher and National State Teacher of the Year who retired from teaching as a second career at 59. A radical reinventor, permission-giver, and storyteller, she encourages midlife women to give themselves permission to change the life they're living so they can live a life they love.

By 60 she became a solo around-the-world traveler and recovering social media avoider. At 61, she launched The Hot Goddess blog for midlife women and started a "blackboard to bourbon" journey by developing a Midlife Reimagined Apprenticeship and becoming a whiskey distillery intern. At 62, she became an expat and now calls Lourinhã, Portugal home.

Extraordinary

I love Blaxit Global! I came across this podcast while in the pre-departure phase of my journey. After listening to the first episode I felt encouraged and motivated. I binged all of the episodes. I’d listen in the car, while washing the dishes and packing up my apartment. It gave me that extra push and confirmation that I was making the right choice.

You will hear amazing stories from guest of all ages, backgrounds and professions. I’m grateful for the necessary and wonderful work that Chrishan Wright and the Blaxit Global community are doing.

The BEST

This is a podcast I didn’t know that I needed. When living life, you get these whisperings from God to push further, learn more and be more. This podcast was one of the tools I believe God sent me to imagine my life bigger, larger and bolder. Chrishan has such a beautiful energy full of ease, authenticity and love. She has inspired me to make my Blaxit this year and I don’t think it would have been such a clear process and decision had it not been for this podcast. She is truly a class act! Please listen!
