In our post-truth culture, there is a lack of concern about getting caught in the act of lying – truth has become irrelevant. Mike gets into how living in a post-truth culture is affecting us, and whether there are still consequences for telling lies.

Jan Coleman (formerly Villarubia) is a former porn actress and former prostitute who turned to Jesus Christ. Jan is now working in Germany, where she called in from, with an organization called Kainos. Kainos provides education about the horrors of human trafficking, and they go into brothels and strip clubs to offer the hope of Jesus Christ. In this broadcast Jan shares her experience going into brothels, and the need to cut off the demand of porn, which feeds sex trafficking.
In this 2nd of 2 interviews, Mike plays a clip from when he interviewed Shelley Lubben in 2005; Shelley played a major role in rescuing Jan from the porn industry. Mike and Jan discuss the damage the porn industry inflicts on its actresses and actors, and the tragic end of Shelley Lubben’s life.

Many of the saints who have gone before us had single minded focus when it came to their relationship with God, doing what they could to shut out distractions so they could give their lives fully to Him. In a time when distractions and entertainment are the norm, those who have gone before us offer wisdom on living a life that counts for eternity.
