Diablo 4's story-free season and Dragonflight's loot piñata
Loot for everyone! Join us this week as we discuss Diablo 4's latest season theme: Loot Reborn, which seems to skip story to focus entirely on the massive itemization changes arriving with Season 4. (We're a little disappointed.) Plus the trials and tribulations of Dragonflight Season 4, which continues its Awakened raid rotation with a return to Aberrus and Zaralek Cavern, featuring plenty of upgraded loot to gear up alts and mains. Unfortunately Fyr'alath owners are stuck with bug preventing Dragonflight Legendaries from being fully upgraded — but don't worry, it's already been fixed.

Everything we know about The War Within
Special guest site writer Nick Marino joins us as we discuss the massive amount of news that dropped this week about WoW’s next expansion The War Within. We cover arguably one of the biggest quality of life improvements coming to the game in the form of Warbands as well as the alpha test, dynamic flight, Delves, the new Earthen allied race, new classes coming to the Dracthyr, a major in-game event that has already been spoiled (really, people, let's not), and the new mode that turns spiders into crabs. Though not crabs with tiny hats so there is obviously still some improvement to be had there.

The crushing weight of too much content

Fantastic

Ummm ok
I started listening to the show about two years ago as someone who mainly plays console games and wanted to understand Blizzard better. For the most mart the show is good, some great convos, likable hosts and interesting topics but… I noticed that when they speak about Microsoft they do it with a certain level of disdain and that bothered me. I have no love for corporations but if you’re going to slander the company than you have to at least point me to something factual as to why, not opinions but concrete facts from reputable sources.
Microsoft according to Forbes year in and year out is voted the number 1 company in the world to work for and as far as Xbox goes Phil and his team has given all their studios time and freedom to do what they want. Since the acquisition was finalized i’ve seen nothing but happiness and rejuvenation from Activision and Blizzard devs on twitter for the future of their jobs but these three didn't bring anything like that up.
If you guys are so worried about culture and working conditions than maybe talk about how devs are feeling at this time and not what your personal bias is towards a company. 343 was mentioned as a sort of caution tale but interestingly enough what wasn't mentioned was that they were given 7 years to make a game and when the issues were identified they were corrected with new leadership.
I don’t think these three are a bad listen but people need to tell the whole story and not slices of a pie that makes you’re narrative work.

Any way I listen to the show while at work driving a garbage truck, an the show never fails to entertain me. Thank you and keep up the great work
