Listen to this show if you want to hear LOTS of:

1. Scott not remembering the names of things and talking mostly about chore-core
2. Jon’s pessimism about pretty much everything except the Final Fantasy series
3. Beau’s rants about subscription models and pee-chemicals in soda

5/5 will listen again

Good when they stick to games

I’ve been a listener for years. The banter is fun and I enjoy the personalities. What holds the show back is the obvious political bias that each host shares in common. Every once in a while they can’t seem to resist slipping in a political anecdote that they all giggle to. Same goes for poop, fart, or sex jokes… While I enjoy the show while driving or doing dishes, I can’t say I’d recommend it to friends. It’s a good time waster but the aforementioned annoyances hold it back from greatness.

Long Time Listener

Listened to the instance, followed them to Core/HotS, and have been hooked since. After HotS died they transitioned smoothly to just gaming in general.

I have bought games just based on their talks, and found new genres that I enjoy because of them.

The three are all goofballs in their own way and sometimes go off topic but their format keeps the conversation authentic and casual.

100% recommend.
