Blood Town

Content is great, but it could have been condensed by 1/2 at least. Commentary in final show is totally out of place. End of the day, I listened to the whole thing. This is a crazy/sad story & am glad someone is covering it in detail. I hope that this visibility gives credence to an extra look into the case at some point.

I started listening to the 48 Hours podcast about this case. At the beginning of that podcast, the Blood Town podcast was referenced. I decided to listen to Blood Town instead of the 48 Hours podcast. I listened to 5 minutes of the first episode and couldn’t take it anymore. The host has the most boring and monotone voice I have ever heard. There is no way I could listen to two seasons of this show. Back to 48 Hours I go.

This is the most boring podcast I have ever listened to. I’m 6 episodes in and all I know is Ms Shockly was killed. Everything else is a history of “Bloodtown.” Don’t waste your time.

The story is good but nothing is really happening. It is told in a super boring, monotone way. Host is just reading off of a piece of paper to the listener 99% of the time which lost my attention after 4-5 few episodes in.
