I’m having a little difficulty in grasping what your thoughts of discipleship is. Now I’m on the edge of 37 yrs saved, we read the Bible for personal enlightenment and learning the disciples said teach us to pray, they also asked in Matthew 24 what is the sign of your coming and the end of the age, even their minds wanted to know. You say come with zero preconceived ideas, how is that possible. As a retired disabled pastor of 23 yrs, I could preach with no target to aim at. You have military experience I to was a infantryman with the 25th infantry Hawaii in the Cold War of 1979-1983 even the military taught objectives and conclusions. Please help me understand what you mean that this is not about us as people, the entire purpose for Jesus coming was to save people Luke 4. We are important in every way to our loving God. 🤔 always willing to learn.
