Real Friends Who Read Books

Listen. I listen to a LOT of book podcasts and I have my favorites. This one is not to be missed. The three friends are so funny and my favorite thing is that they are forced to read genre’s of books they would otherwise never read. Erica is your nonfiction reader, Courtney hates feelings so she’s into murder and some fantasy, Mary Paige is all about the feels and, of course, a romance reader! (You can tell I’m excited because I LOVE romance) A few of my favorite episodes have been The Duke and I (the fake vomit noises from the non romance readers was the highlight of the episode). How to Do Nothing (a book that should come with a warning label about not operating heavy machinery because they all found it nap inducing). Even if the book didn’t jive with one of them (or all of them) the friends are respectful of each other’s tastes and the authors. You can tell they have been friends for a very long time. Fun, relatable, and the best time- listen to this podcast!

The chemistry these three have is palpable. You definitely get the “goofy lifelong friend group I want to be a part of” vibe right off the bat. Great news - they welcome you right in. Great books, hilarious anecdotes… it all leaves you feeling like the newest member of the book club you always wished you could join. I think I found my new favorite podcast.

Smart and clever group. I love listening to these three while they bounce from fun to facts. Cool topics and a very dynamic perspective on the literature they read.
