Boring Books for Bedtime Readings to Help You Sleep

Boring Books for Bedtime is a weekly sleep podcast in which we calmly, quietly read something rather boring to silence the brain chatter keeping you awake. Think Aristotle, Thoreau, and whoever wrote the 1897 Sears Catalog—mostly nonfiction, mostly old, a perfect blend of vaguely-but-not-too interesting. If you're on Team Sleepless, lie back, take a deep breath, and let us read you to rest.

Love this pod. It’s better than melatonin and I have horrible insomnia.
Not Boring at All

You can DEFINITELY fall asleep to this podcast, but if you have insomnia often (as I do) you can count on enjoying waiting out the alarm clock with this wonderful narration and choice of material. I have actually searched out specific chapters to hear more of the books!
Thank you!

I've listened to this pod cast for a few years now and find it increadibly helpful. Sometimes the segments are not actually boring, however, the mellow dialog lulls me to sleep anyway. Sometimes I listen during the day at 1.25 speed to actually focus on the content. This insomniac owes you a great debt...
