Bound By Oath by IJ
Bound by Oath is a podcast series from the Center for Judicial Engagement at the Institute for Justice. It’s where the Constitution’s past catches up with the present. Article VI of the U.S. Constitution requires every judge to be “bound by Oath” to uphold “this Constitution.” But to understand if judges are following that oath, it’s important to ask, “What is in ‘this Constitution’?” Your host John Ross takes a deep dive into the Constitution’s text, history, and characters, and interviews historians, legal scholars, and the real people involved in historic and contemporary cases.

Awesome!

Very thorough on how power is slowly taken from the people and into the hands of the statesman. Makes it exciting and hopeful with recent/current cases working their way through the courts.
This is a fascinating podcast

It is well-researched and well-delivered. If you are concerned about government power, listen here.
Disappointing use of AI
Aug 30
The show has used AI to fabricate the voices of both living and dead public figures. The text they’re reading is from speeches they’ve given, but sometimes from opinions that were only ever written. I don’t think this creation of audio of personal speech that didn't exist before leads anywhere good.
Infuriating

So well done. You and your worst enemy will agree on how maddening these cases are.
