Bozoma Saint John Will Not Apologize For Her Success The Brownprint

    • Society & Culture

On the inaugural episode of the Brownprint, we are talking to the badass boss herself, Bozoma Saint John. Bozoma is one of the most successful business women out there. She’s an incredibly accomplished marketing executive who was recently named the Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix. She is no stranger to major brands, as she's been a part of the C-Suite at Pepsi, Uber, Endeavor, Apple and a few others before she took the job at Netflix.

Boz is badass personified. She is fearless, unique and completely unapologetic when it comes to her style, her methods and her ferocious drive to succeed. Everything about her screams ambition, and Cari went deep with her discussing the challenges Boz faced every step of the way as she climbed the corporate ladder. She discussed growing up in America after returning to the US from Ghana at the age of 12, along with the racism and discrimination she faced as a young girl. That same discrimination followed her into adulthood and into the boardrooms of major brands where she fought for a seat at the table to represent her culture, style and ideas. It all paid off because today Bozoma writes her own ticket and her success was achieved by her own perseverance and unapologetic drive. She has some incredible words of wisdom for those that wish to follow in her footsteps.
