37 episodes

A show all about puzzles, games, brainteasers, mysteries, riddles, and lateral thinking.  It’s an exploration of the quandaries of our lives, a journey through the mysteries of the world, driven by curiosity and wonder.  Either that, or it's a bunch of audio files with some puzzles thrown in.  Depends on how cynical you are.

Creative, original, challenging puzzles, not old rehashes

Great stuff! Brain Drop Puzzles feature creative, original, and challenging puzzles delivered in a low-key, entertaining way. Many puzzle podcasts out there simply regurgitate the same trite puzzles you’d find in any old puzzle book (“If a rooster lays an egg…where are the survivors buried…On rainy days the man takes the elevator to the top, but on sunny days…”)

In contrast, Brain Drop presents innovative puzzles and delivers them in a fun way (without trying too hard to be funny). Also, it’s found a novel way to present solutions to lateral-thinking puzzles by playing the recording of an actual person asking questions and eventually arriving at the solution, which allows the listener to play along and learn the mindset and process to solve them.
