In this conversation series I talk to men who are journeying through what it is to be a man today. We touch on themes related to how they got here, what they've moved through in their search for deeper meaning, how they help others rise into more authentic connection, bringing powerful and educational insights into relationships, love and intimacy. If you're lost at sea in the relational field, you're partnered but know there are new ways to deepen into intimacy, you're single but longing for more consistent love, or you simply want to learn from men who've journeyed, this series is for you.

Bridging Worlds ASK MEN Conversation Series - Episode 4 - Attachment styles, and more, with Serdar Hararovich

Bridging Worlds ASK MEN Conversation Series - Episode 4 - Attachment styles, and more, with Serdar Hararovich

Serdar is an Authentic Intimacy coach that supports his clients to have the most fulfilling, easeful & secure connections of their lives.

His expertise is in helping Men & Women learn how to co-create trust, communicate with clarity, express their boundaries before resentment kicks in, and create safety for deeply authentic relating to unfold.

This often starts with healing our relationship to our own authentic Self and finding the places where we have forgotten or dismissed or our own truth.

"I spent most of my life repressing my voice, numb and disconnected
from my true self. As a child, I was mute for two years due to the
impact of the traumatic home I grew up in.

Nobody ever showed me that who I am was worthy and valuable. That’s
why as an adult, my boundaries were either weak or non-existent - if I
can accommodate your needs and ignore my own, maybe you’ll love me
enough that I can survive off the breadcrumbs of your affection.

I figured I had to earn love by people-pleasing and becoming a man who
could please women in the bedroom.

Meanwhile, my heart was completely shut down, because it was never
safe for me to truly feel my emotions. Not to mention, how could I
allow myself to be vulnerable, when the world & everyone I ever loved
had betrayed my trust by allowing me to go through what I went
    through?

Nobody showed me that it was safe to feel anger & grief. All I saw was
the destructive power of anger, so I shoved down my own anger because
I didn’t want to be like that. As far as I knew, connection was this
thing where you find someone to connect with, have sex with but
secretly you resent the person or at least keep one foot out the door,
because god forbid I truly let anyone into my heart.

Fast forward several years of trauma healing, extensive study and the
experiential wisdom of grounded recovery, I was able to change the
trajectory of my life to be able to finally experience the secure,
authentic and beautiful intimacy with women that I so deeply desired
yet could never trust - and I have now helped hundreds of people to
begin reclaiming their power & their lives, and their authentic
selves, from the shackles of the past.

The most powerful thing in the world is the power of authentic
connection - to be loved for who you truly are. Yet for that to
happen, we have to embody who we really are, and to open up to
    receiving that love.

This is often not easy to do, and that’s why I love to support people
with compassionate & grounded coaching to help others overcome the
patterns that aren't serving them & open to a whole new paradigm of
    love".

Bridging Worlds - ASK MEN Conversation Series - Episode 1 - Loving the Unhealed Man with Sharif Joynson

Bridging Worlds - ASK MEN Conversation Series - Episode 1 - Loving the Unhealed Man with Sharif Joynson

In this episode I talk to Sharif Joynson. Facilitator, women's empowerment coach, once a self described "unhealed man" and co- founder with his partner Beth, of "Led by Love".

We explore what the term "the unhealed man" means. What it is to create conscious partnership by leading with "big Love". How as women, we can learn to show up in new ways and how as men, there is a choice to also open more.

Sharif coined the term ‘unhealed man’ in his work helping women navigate relationships with the kind of man who is emotionally unavailable, fearful of commitment, attracts with intensity and then pulls away. His deep understanding of these dynamics comes from once being such a man himself before journeying to the darkest parts of his past and giving love to the scars that lay there.

A separated Dad, his mission is to reshape men’s presence in the world, and the world’s perception of them, into one of integrity and radical honesty - by working with them and the women who try to love themSharif coined the term ‘unhealed man’ in his work helping women navigate relationships with the kind of man who is emotionally unavailable, fearful of commitment, attracts with intensity and then pulls away.
