Couldn't catch what book/paper you were reading re: unconditional surrender/Casablanca conference/Vichy. Could you catch us up in the next episode?

One of the hosts says “yup” or “yes” after virtually every one of the other hosts sentences — literally hundreds of times during the podcast. Yup.

I would just skip any episode that might touch on the United States Marine Corps. All three hosts do their best to feign respect for the Marines, but clearly feel like the Marine Corps is a waste of resources better spent on the Army. They grudgingly admit that individual Marines might be courageous, but then look to undercut the institution at every opportunity. I cannot think of another Allied branch of the armed forces that receives similar treatment. Often, they go out of the way to inflate the reputation of reputation of the US Army, RAF, Coastal Command, British Army, etc. I am sure they will never see this or feel like this is a valid criticism.

Stick to WWII. American politics is clearly not your forté.
