World War One - Part One

World War One - Part One

The War to End All Wars, The Great War, World War One—whatever you want to call it, it was a kinda a big deal. For those who've learned about WWI in school, you've most likely heard it in connection with the the assassination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand. Some claim the bullet that took the Arch Duke's life was the sole cause of this global conflict. But we beg to differ. In this deep dive of WWI, the Bros discuss the state of the world at this time in history, the true causes of the war, and how it change how battles were won through the institution of new weapons like machine guns, tanks, and toxic gases. As always, we hope you learn something new and you decide to take an even deeper dive on this topic for yourself.

Fix sound please

Sound was bad. The two guys talking had different microphone levels and one I could barely hear and the other kept making loud jarring noises. Really wanted to listen to the Apache history podcast but it was unlistenable due to the sound. Please fix.

Educate yourselves before attempting to inform others

Turned this off after 5 minutes. Don’t think they have any credibility in talking about history. Seems like they read a Wikipedia article and then summarized it in a podcast. When you compared the Mongolian empire to orcs in LOTR, you lost me. Incredibly insensitive and ignorant thing to say.

I’m not much of a history person but this show
makes it easy and simple to learn history without the intimidation. These bros RULE!
