SO THANKFUL!
i am so happy this podcast exists. it’s helped me feel so much emotionally❤️
Some concerns
This is an overall good podcast I support her calling out intergenerational practices that are not always healthy. However sometimes her views are a bit too narrow minded and come across as anti South Asian culture and pro White culture. She once said she wishes she had white girls problems and seems to put her white mother in law on a pedestal. This is narrow minded to me. Not all South Asians will always have intergenerational trauma and sometimes white people can have their own intergenerational trauma too.
Yessss
These conversations need to be had and Disha is open, funny, honest, and passionate about the topics, guests, and episodes. We need more of this in the brown community!!!
