The  Cherry Tribune allows Temple athletes to let their stories be heard from their perspectives. It's a collection of stories that gives insight into what makes these students who they are as people and athletes. We aim to share ideas in a meaningful way emphasizing that each athlete has a story to tell about how they got to where they are.

    Nina-Symone Williams

    Temple volleyball freshman Nina-Symone Williams joins the show to talk about how she spent her quarantine learning to sew and making face masks for friends and family. That quickly turned into a small business selling cloth masks while the nation saw a national shortage. We also got a little into how the volleyball team has been able to have constructive conversations during a time of civil unrest and what the fall will look like with Temple's spring season being postponed to the spring as a result of the pandemic.

    Susan Ciufo

    Temple Field Hockey head coach Susan Ciufo joins the show following the news that the BIG EAST would be cancelling its conference schedule. Ciufo talks about what practices have been like and will continue to look like this fall without a season, the struggles of coaching during a pandemic and how her players have been able to have conversations about racial inequality in America.

    Jackie Terpak with Temple Gymnastics and Isaiah Graham-Mobley with Temple Football join the podcast to talk about the planning process and everything that went along with the peaceful protest they organized with a group of fellow student-athletes. Saturday June, 6, a group of student-athletes led a Black Lives Matter peaceful protest from the corner of Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore all the way to City Hall joining a larger protest downtown. The two talk about what it meant to them to be able to be apart of something so monumental and important.

    Matt Kristick from Temple Men's Golf and the Event Coordinator of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) joins the show to talk about the logistics of Temple's switch from Under Armour to Nike and how it's going to work for student-athletes to retain a year of eligibility due to COVID-19.
