About Dr. Gillian Lockitch: Author, international speaker, researcher and entrepreneur, Dr. Gillian enjoyed a 25-year career as Medical Professor and dual-certified Specialist in Paediatrics and Medical Biochemistry. During her 25-year academic medical practice her research focused on biochemistry, nutrition and genetics. She authored 57 peer reviewed publications, 14 book chapters and was invited to speak at international conferences throughout Asia, Europe and North America. She received the 1998 YWCA Woman of Distinction Award for Science and Technology. On retiring from medicine, she began a second career, founding the lifestyle website, Reviewfromthehouse.com, focusing on theatre reviews, dance-cruising and travel, food and wine, and an eclectic mix of whatever stories pique her interest. After experiencing a series of catastrophic life events, culminating in life-saving emergency spinal surgery, she began to exploring the integration of epigenetic science with myriad ancient and non-traditional wellness systems to develop a Road Map for healthy aging, extending health span rather than just lifespan. She also became an entrepreneur, building a network marketing business in health and aging youthfully.
