Carey Conley: Break FREE from Mental Health Myths!

Fraternity Foodie Podcast by Greek University

For the last 20 years, Carey Conley has had a flourishing business career which has taken her around the world. Unfortunately, tragedy struck, and everything changed. She lost her husband, Ross, in 2014 and just three years later, she lost her son, Cole, at age 26 - both to suicide. Today, Carey helps people create a crystal clear written vision for every area of their life, so they take action every day toward living out their purpose. Purpose is what gives people hope.

In episode 526 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out why Carey decided on Oklahoma State University, what was special about Phi Mu that made her want to join, what happened when she lost her husband Ross to suicide in 2014, what happened when she lost her son Cole to suicide just three years later, how students can find their purpose in life, how she came up with the title of her book "Keep Looking Up: Transforming Grief into Hope After Tragedy", strategies students can use to support friends who might be struggling with their mental health, myths about mental health, and how students can become advocates for mental health awareness on their campuses. Enjoy!
