Kate Shelby has a teenager with a post cancer brain injury. He's not intellectually impaired, his disability is completely invisible. One of the problems with an ABI with some children is they experience everything 10 fold. So emotional responses like anger, anxiety, excitement.... All amplified. There's also the issue of early puberty as well. Kate is a mother of three; a boy and two girls.
