Citizen McCain with Meghan McCain

I used to LOVE this podcast. As a true middle of the road American voter, I loved hearing different opinions and perspectives about politics. Lately it has seemed like a way to bow to anything associated with the Republican Party (even if it isn’t true to conservative values) and a consistent attempt to say people don’t like Taylor Swift (why are you obsessed with getting every guest to say she isn’t popular anymore?). Just seems like there was a big swing lately and it bums me out. I can just watch Fox if I want this type of chatter. I miss the real topics that affect us real Americans and hearing different opinions about them.

You are delusional.

For someone who has rode off the coattails of being her father’s daughter for this long, she’s really thumbing her nose at his memory with her gross fealty to Trump. This woman is a clout-chaser who had the opportunity to a respected conservative voice but decided she’d rather be a spoiled brat and follow the wave of Trumpism than have anything resembling principles. I don’t like using this word to describe a woman, but she is truly hysterical. Just embarrassing.

I wanted to like this podcast but ended up with just an ick feeling. I consider myself center left and loved Meghan on The View even if I didn’t always agree with her stand. Hearing Meghan’s side kick call Trump “authentic”, “funny” and just gush over him was gross. I tuned in to hear Meghan’s political perspective not teenage love whispers from her side kick for a man that is so off putting and divisive. I think Meghan has an identity crises and is using the side kick to speak so that she is not caught gushing over the man who disgracefully spoke of her war hero dad herself. Meghan needs to to figure out how she can live as a conservative during this administration and keep her dignity in place. Hint….think Liz Cheney.
