Dr Wes Morgan is an academic researcher with expertise in international relations, focusing on the Pacific islands and the global politics of climate change. He’s a Senior Researcher at the Climate Council, specializing in the ways countries collaborate at the UN to address climate change and incorporate it into foreign policy and national security strategies. Dr Wes has over a decade of experience living and working in the Pacific islands, including roles as Pacific Policy Advisor with Oxfam and teaching postgraduate courses in diplomacy at the University of the South Pacific.
