Even as a Grant Morrison skeptic, I appreciate the thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and insight every episode of this podcast brings. Batman’s not even close to my favorite DC character, but there is a lot to talk about with him, and I’m glad there’s a show like this to intelligently cover it. Do No Man’s Land.

Have really been enjoying this show! Incredibly high-quality, especially for a one-man show. Walt, please keep making episodes!

It's hard to fully convey how incredible Walt Lewellyn is as a solo presenter and researcher on this. For the relative brevity of many comics, there is an incredible amount of serious cultural research put into this podcast from Kabbalah to the history of early Hollywood to fundamental psychological theories. This is serious cultural critique, and Walt's love of Batman and comics in general shines through in a deeply necessary way in a time where comics are still seen as disposable, even if dressed up more than in past decades. Walt also has an incredible voice and talent in podcasting, to the point that listening to an episode feels like listening to a guided meditation. Bravo!

A new fave podcast. Well researched, incredibly thought out, and beautifully presented and insightful analyses of different takes on Batman in comics and film. I’m late to the party, only 2 episodes in, but what a show.
