The episode with Judge William Thorne is fantastic! The recruitment strategies shared should be applied at states and counties across the nation. This podcast was really inspiring to me as a child welfare social worker

I was so impressed with this podcast’s first guest. Pastor has a command of persuasive facts to offer a straightforward and compelling perspective for considering the best conditions of everyone to be in our community’s best interest. I definitely plan to listen again.

This podcast sounds like someone is reading a press release. It's really a shame, because many of their topics are important and timely. Unfortunately, their guests are mostly inexperienced in communicating in a compelling way to a general audience -- they are academics or researchers or even advocates, but not press-friendly ones. You can tell that (in most cases) they really know what they're talking about, but the format just hamstrings them. The host sounds like she has been completely forbidden to go off-script, to the point where you wonder whether she has to get all her questions pre-approved by the foundation higher-ups. This podcast has the potential to be so much better, but as it is now, it's underwhelming.
