Castle of Horror Podcast

I discovered The Castle Of Horror podcast about a year or so ago. It very quickly became part of my driving habit. Every morning and afternoon on the way to and from work is what’s playing in my vehicle. Always entertaining, enjoyable and often funny. Keep up the great work guys!!! Bring on more Universal Horror and some 50’s schlock!!! Update. I still love the Podcast, content and crew however what I find annoying is how the ads break into the episodes when someone is in mid sentence while speaking and how the volume of the ads sometimes jumps wildly loud blowing out my eardrums when wearing EarPods.

Could not enjoy this more.

I really like this podcast and the movies it covers. Listening from the start, I just wish the token female didn't talk over everyone. Hopefully gets better as the podcast matures. And it is like listening to an issue of Famous Monsters

Very well done podcast consisting of writers, artists, musicians, and attorneys offering interesting and entertaining commentary on horror and monster films. What sets this apart is that there is a perfect blend of entertainment, information and sociological commentary. Want an informed opinion of the sociology and gender politics of King Kong 1976? You've come to the right place. Their Kong series is excellent, the Shape of Water episode blew me away. Jason, Julie, Drew, Jamie, and Tony are a great team. They don't shout over each other (well, not too much), and they bring a nice analysis, with some "making of" research and sociological/historical context, just excellent. I think Jamie and Julia are especially valuable and would like to hear more of them. I'm a monster and kaiju fan, so not all of the horror films appeal to me directly, but I have a feeling I will be inspired to broaden my horizons a bit. Can't recommend this show enough.
