The Franciscan Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother of Nebraska City gather with a group of parishioners from St. Mary's and St. Benedict's parishes to read, pray, study, and reflect on the meaning of the upcoming Sunday Mass Readings. Through their Catholic Bible Study, they hope to be able to more fruitfully receive our Lord in Holy Communion each Sunday.

Catholic Bible Study for the 7th Sunday of Easter (Year A)
This is a Catholic Bible study for the 7th Sunday of Easter. As we move forward on the path towards Pentecost, let us examine what it takes for us to be with God forever in Heaven. He wants us with Him... do we want it as bad?
Customer Reviews
The Bible studies
I have become deeply involved with Gods meaning his love and to understand his will the way he wants us to live. We are sorry his life has bean ignored and not taken seriously in the beginning with the beginning of time his creation and the way the sisters give talk on the will he has given us to follow a life in Volvos of giving caring love how we where are meant to be.
I am a devoted follower !!!!!
Every week, sister Katharine explains the readings for the Sunday Mass and I listen ( often more than once!) to her class. I depend so much on her teaching because she opens the meaning of the readings in a way that the Word of God becomes crystal clear and I feel it and understand it and becomes a precious and full of light treasure !
Thanks!!!
