Meet Treive Nicholas
Treive, the author of 'A Nun and the Pig. Treive shares his passion for the history of the Eastern Cape, his adventures exploring the life of a Xhosa girl who had an incredible impact. The teenager and so-called prophetess, Nongqawuse, who was traditionally held responsible for the Xhosa Great Cattle Killing (1856-57), when 40,000+ lost their lives in the Eastern Cape, has become his recent passion project. Treive believes history and folklore are doing her a great injustice, others are far more responsible and will be his new book: The Girl Who Killed A Nation.

Meet Dawn A Denton
Dawn is a writer, speaker, and trainer and is the Chief Ubuntu Officer at Celebrate Southern Africa. In this episode, the 'tables are turned' as Dawn is interviewed by fellow writer, Treive Nicholas, about her popular non-fiction book; "Walking Tour Guiding - the ultimate handbook". Dawn shares her love of travel, how this book came about, her passion for community in Ubuntu (I am because we are) and 'it takes a village to raise a child'.

Our final speaker
Delight Mapasure is an award-winning entrepreneur who successfully created a six figure food brand from her kitchen table to retail shelves despite facing many challenges. In 2016, the Zimbabwean-born and former Dragon’s Den participant co-founded K’s Wors Ltd.
Their first retail listing was with Ocado in 2019 and the brand has recently launched in the UAE and has attracted interest in India. Delight is also a resilience coach and through her experiences in business believes that anything worth having is worth failing for.

Our sixth speaker
For as long as she can remember, all Hayley Joy Weinberg dreamt of doing was making a difference. She also dreamt of making beautiful clothes.
She never could have imagined how combining the two, could and would determine her destiny.
Today as a Size-inclusive fashion designer, she specialises in REAL Plus sizes and is inspired to make a difference in the lives of the forgotten women.

Hayley Reichert is a Mortgage & Protection (Life Insurance) Adviser. She is also a prolific South African campaigner!
She has been involved with the following:
The organising committee of the UK-based Nedbank SA Charity Golf Day The South African Chamber of Commerce ExCo The Democratic Alliance Abroad committee The Home Away From Home repatriation project Project LISA (Locked in SA) which assisted over 40,000 displaced South Africans during SA airspace closure due to the Covid pandemic in 2020 The ExCo of the Move One Million initiative Played a key role in assisting 100 South Africans and 50 relatives to flee Ukraine at the start of the Russian invasion ...amongst many other things.
