Chapel Probation
As a Dauntless Media podcast, this is a companion to Scott's forthcoming book about losing faith while teaching at an evangelical university. This podcast will feature former students and faculty of Azusa Pacific University. They will tell stories of racism, sexism, hatred towards the LGBTQ community, and early alt-right shenanigans. Other guests outside of the APU world will also be invited to share their experiences. Join the growing Chapel Probation community on Instagram, Discord, and Facebook. This podcast helps me know I’m not alone. I went to Oral Roberts University and had experiences so adjacent to what I’m hearing on this podcast. Thank you for sharing and providing humanizing empathy for those all along the deconstructing journey.
True gem

This podcast is a wonderful listen and a great resource for those who have left and are thinking of leaving oppressive religions.
Fun, illuminating and oh so human

Chapel Probation is not only affirming for those of us wanting to get away from the culture of evangelicalism, it’s just interesting learning about just how insane it can be in the laboratory of college classrooms. And there’s a nice underlying tone of compassion and hope.
Well produced important storytelling

Listening to this podcast is a little like group therapy for those of us who have been in repressive Christian institutions. The stories told and the community being created through this show are so important. Yet another show worth hitting that subscribe button for!
