Sorta Kinda Superpowered is the story of 12 year-old Joses Gardner who along with his best friend Clovis finds a golden pin that when worn gives him a limited set of superpowers. The pin enhances his already sharp mind and helps him overcome bullies and navigate life as the 2nd shortest 6th grader in his school.

Thoroughly enjoyable, fun, down to earth, and a great message. I love that his mom is a single mom, dealing with a seriously hard thing (his dad leaving). I think it gave my 9 yo son a feeling that he isn’t alone in his own, similar circumstance. I found it encouraging, and the story was absolutely wonderful. Can’t recommend it enough! You won’t be sorry you listened.

Please sell this story in the bookstores! I’m an adult and I loved the story and listening to James read it! I, too, was on the edge of my seat. James, you are a winner!

Fantastic story! This was a true joy to listen to. What an awesome take on a super hero genre. I found myself on the edge of my seat listening to the delivery of the story. James, you're a great story teller. I could hear the passion in your voice as you delivered it. Great story, great morals, funny and exciting. I would love to hear how the story continues if you ever decide to write a sequal. God Bless!
