Not what I expected. It lulled me into an immersive world (not in a sleepy, boring way) that was both poignant and hilarious. Ridiculously absurd but with a heart. 10 outta 10.

I just invented that, pretty sure. #quirkyfresh But that’s how I would describe this podcast. It’s intellectual, yet ridiculous. Comedic, yet dramatically relatable. Complex, yet freewheelin’. A veritable quagmire of an auditory hallucinatory narrative journey. I want that shirt.

Lick Bowl is an oasis of great understated storytelling in a landscape that is often cluttered with crime, violence and celebrity obsession. Really solid voice work as well. Lots of fun characters that you want to follow on their journey.
