    Convictions and Idolatry | Ep.4

    Is your faith built on strong convictions, or are you unknowingly worshipping something else? This episode ignites a conversation about discerning the difference. We'll explore how seemingly harmless desires can morph into idols that compete with God for our devotion. Learn practical steps from scripture to examine your heart, identify hidden idols, and reignite your passion for Christ. Scripture:  John 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. 1 Corinthians 2:14 “The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit” Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit Romans 14:21 It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. Matthew 6: 24-26 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:22-23 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! Galatians5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Hosted by Flor Cantu.     How Jesus Changed My Life, My Testimony | Ep.2

    In this episode I will dive into my testimony giving a little background of the experiences that led me to hit rock bottom. After years of going from relationship to relationship and putting my self worth into things of this world, I was left with an empty shell of a person. I no longer recognized who I was and felt depressed, anxious and alone. Until I met Jesus. He rescued me from the pits of hell and gave me the peace and love I needed to come out of it and start to seek Him. If you are struggling with the things I struggled with, I promise you are not alone and He is waiting for you to surrender and ask Him for help. He loves you regardless of what you have done.
