    S4 E1 - Gladiator 2: This Time It’s Gladiator Again

Leslie and Matthew are back for the fourth season of Chatting Pitch, the podcast that reviews movies and TV shows before throwing up its own ideas that’re much worse in comparison. Looking back over the multiple seasons of Chatting Pitch, our two loveable presenters noticed a pattern beginning to emerge. Shortly after season 1, there was a global pandemic. Not long after season 2 ended, various armed conflicts stepped up a notch. And so Leslie and Matthew both came to the end of season three feeling rather trepidatious. But fortunately, nothing bad happened, specifically at the beginning of November! They broke the spell! In the opening for season 4, Chatting Pitch tries something a little different with a cold open, before falling back into familiar routines. And so fittingly, in this episode they discuss what they thought of Gladiator 2. And following the review, Leslie and Matthew attempt to pitch something based on a minor character who, frankly, they thought didn’t get fleshed out enough. It’s the monkey, they talk about the monkey. Of course it’s the monkey, have you not heard these guys before!? S3 E14 - Longlegs Review and Pitch

As we reach the end of season three of Chatting Pitch, it’s tempting to look back at some of the memories that were made over the course of these fourteen episodes. Talking about Alien for three weeks. Inventing our own patented rating system. The time we had Ridley Scott and James Cameron on to talk about their favourite soup. Some of the memories have been made up, but regardless they were highly enjoyable. As we close out, we finally hit the review Matthew’s wanted to do for months: It’s Longlegs. Has Matthew forgotten everything about the film? Did Leslie enjoy watching it at home on his favourite format (DVD)? And more importantly, what is the plot to their new movie idea? And this is what they present to you. No Legs: The Dealmaker: Code of Satan: A Satanist Cult Story: A Longlegs Saga. I think that’s what they called it; I was too busy trying to find some deals online.
