Show Me The Meaning! – A Wisecrack Movie Podcast

Heck yeah! Couldn’t believe when the show was over. So glad it’s been resurrected. Excited about the new format. I’ve listened to every episode at least three times and still find interesting new things to think about. Can’t wait to keep learning the meaning of movies!

I was so excited to see one of my favorite podcasts come back this year! I used to listen to this pod every new release of a episode when it first was out. The crew is definitely well versed in there knowledge of film. However, after coming back to the show after discovering it came back, I noticed they were way more prone to bring up political and social present day topics. Don’t get me wrong though I totally understand comparing the present day political comparing when reviewing a film. I don’t agree with though, comparing a completely unrelated topic to the films you are talking about. There is no reason there should be a 5 minute conversation about the outcomes covid 19 had on watching thanksgiving movies or how we interpret them. Keep it much more brief please.

Please mix the audio better. Even if everyone is remote, it shouldn’t sound like it. PLEASE but a little more towards audio

I’m disappointed this podcast was canceled. Such great perspectives with fun hosts. There’s nothing quite like it.
