JT certainly has drunk the Pete Carroll and Raiders Kool Aid. I wonder if the players love Pete as much as he does. Oh I forgot, he’s a Raiders employee not a journalist. I’ve never heard Fred Kirsch and Co. be as much of a homer as this guy. TN Pats Fan

Tom whipped that out when the Vrabel hire was gaining momentum, no doubt leaving his audience, save the Italian listeners, scratching their collective heads. And that’s part of the reason this is quality podcast—he gets ya thinking. Phil Perry, the senator, is also great. The two of them make a solid team. They don’t dive as deep as they used to (NFL news that’s not Patriot related is now nonexistent), thus the 4 star rating instead of 5. But it’s still a fun listen. I’m not a Pats fan and I still rarely miss a pod. A lot of other NFL team podcasts could learn a thing or three from this one. And, no, I won’t tell you the meaning of “capo di tutti capi”; I’ll make you look it up like I had to.

Enough with the BB cheap shots — especially Tom — did Bill spit in your cereal or something??? Just stick to what’s going on now and hope for the best. When this cast of characters (coaches and players) win something (or 6 somethings) then start comparing these days to the good old days — which most of you have forgotten and clearly aren’t appreciative of. For god’s sake — leave BIll’s name out of your collective mouths unless you are going to comment on the entire 2 decades plus…
