Verse by Verse Bible Study with Dr. Wayne Barber The John Ankerberg Show

As I was listening to Romans, Dr. Barber made a comment about the verdict in the OJ trial and you realized how old the message was. But at the same time you understand the message is still timely (and sadly accurate) almost three decades later! Wayne does a great job of thoroughly presenting God's Word-and clarifying the original language for a better understanding. I have learned so much and highly recommend!

I personally knew this precious bondservant of Jesus Christ. His family means the world to me and my family. Wayne and his family have modeled Christ and have shown us what it means to LIVE the Christ life. Thank you for sharing his messages. Though he is in heaven, I rejoice in knowing some day we’ll all be praising Jesus face to face. Thank you again for posting his messages of Christ’s love

Although Barber's messages are good preaching, they are not verse-by-verse, as advertised. At least, he is going through a book of the Bible, but a passage is selected from which personal application is drawn while skipping over many verses and ignoring contextual application. This was a disappointment for one who is looking for true verse-by-verse exposition of Scripture.
