    This weeks guest on Stand Out with Ian O’Connell is Chris Kent. Chris gave up the day job as an electrician to pursue his calling in comedy. He emerged onto the Irish comedy scene in 2009 after winning the Bulmers Nuttin’ But Funny competition. In 2010 Chris made his debut at one of Ireland’s biggest comedy festivals in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens.

Paddy is from Dublin and is a disabled rights campaigner and TV personality, won Channel 4 social media-themed reality show The Circle in 2019. Paddy has also appeared as a contestant on First Dates Ireland and on Celebrity Pulling With my Parents. Paddy shared his struggles with cerebral palsy on The Circle and raised awareness. We will be talking about Paddy’s life growing up with cerebral palsy, the daily challenges that he faces, the good and bad of reality television, being an accidental disability activist and more.

    This weeks  guest on Stand Out with Ian O’Connell is Imogen Cotter. Imogen is an Irish professional racing cyclist. In January 2022 she was injured in Spain while training. She suffered a ruptured quadriceps tendon, a broken patella, radius and ulna after being hit by a car driving on the wrong side of the road and she is here tonight to tell her story. We will be talking about Imogen’s personal life, Imogen’s life changing accident and the injuries that she sustained, her collaboration with the Road Society Authority (RSA) cycling and more.
