Cindy Carrillo: Finding Your Nxt

Women Influencers

In this week’s episode of Women Influencers, I spoke with the inspirational Cindy Carrillo, a businesswoman for over 40 years who has started several of her own businesses, including being the Founder and CEO of a national B2B company that provided work/life services to employees of top Fortune 500 businesses. Cindy has extensive leadership experience from her businesses, in her leadership roles on community non-profit boards, and as the former Founder of the Women’s Council that brought hundreds of women business leaders and young business professionals together to inspire leadership development. Now, Cindy is all about helping folks find their Nxt through coaching.

We discussed her upbringing with parents who told her she could do anything, and helped her do it. When Cindy was early into her college career, she followed her parents to Colorado and they opened a family owned, boutique plant shop. The shop paid Cindy and her father’s school ways through school - her father had decided to switch careers and go to law school - before they decided to close it after graduation.

We talked about her influential career highlights, she shared a piece of advice, and then we talked about handling change.
