100th Anniversary!
100 years ago, an itinerant ox rancher named Mike Smith discovered the Sandia mountains and decided to make a podcast about them. Today, we celebrate that great day with a very self-indulgent ramble session of an episode. We talk City on the Edge history, highs and lows, the Simpsons and whatever else comes to mind over the course of an hour and 40 minutes.

Love
I left New Mexico 5 years ago and have missed it fiercely ever since. Don’t know that I’ll ever stop. I LOVE this show, especially the episodes on ghost towns, springs, little known places. Mikes essays some times make me cry, tears of longing & joy that others love these places as much as I. It’s brilliant.
Really?
I was so excited about a podcast that was going to let me see my new city through the eyes of those who’ve lived there a long while. Instead, it’s full of long-winded stories that include the experiences of young people who have lived there for a few years.
Wish there were more
podcasts like this (research-based, sincere, passionate), episodes (what happened the past year?), and listeners.
