Battleground Wisconsin

Someone recently introduced me to this fine podcast, and I can't resist it! Wisconsin has has a fine progressive tradition. But now it has a "governor" who was expelled from a Catholic university for cheating, whose money comes from out of state, and who purports to be representing the state while flying around the country promoting HIMSELF. (All it means is that he'll eventually be another Sarah Palin: a grossly overpaid flunkie who makes a lot of money off the hopelessly naive). That aside, we need information the podcast provides to wake up Wisconsin and move back into civilization. So thanks so much for it! Wake up, Wisconsin!

Given the title of this podcast, this would be a GREAT platform to have Ben Wikler from WisDems on to discuss the current idea that is being floated thru out the R legislators, and how Ben was on MSNBC last nite on the call to action for WI folks to know about the most current fascist power grab w/ re: to possible impeachment of Justice Janet P. This is a horrific situation, and it needs MAXIMAL exposure, maximal calls for action, etc. Ben outlined a plan to contact the voters that voted for her, esp in the districts and areas that are represented by the GOP legislatures. However, I have checked for specifics and haven’t found anything concrete. Perhaps tho if you have Ben on, and SOON, he might be able to expound on this situation and maybe too, give a few concrete ways that we Wisconsinites can help get the word out. Ben always has such great outreach, and we need to try and let all voters who voted for Justice Janet KNOW that this GOP plan is in the works and HOW we can fight back effectively!!!!!
