Misty Copeland on Balancing Athleticism and Artistry

The terms “Prodigy” and “Trailblazer” are often thrown around casually - but in this episode, Henrik sits down with someone who carries both of these titles with ease. Misty Copeland, the first African American Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, talks to Henrik about her unique journey from her first ballet class at thirteen years of age to collaborating with the likes of Prince and Drake. Great Forum

The interview with Mess was incredible. Whether and athlete or not, the leadership and mindset lessons are spot on. Everyone has their “game seven” moments. In sports, business or their personal lives. Mark was an amazing athlete, but is a student of the mental game that can provide an edge.

All Hail King Henrik ,

More than a Podcast

As a lifelong New York Rangers fan whose favorite goalie is Henrik, I, admittedly, may not qualify as completely unbiased by many standards. However, I am also a print journalist with a competitive pedigree that includes annually judging peers from around the country, as well as collegiate newspaper contests. So, I feel confident in my ability to be impartial. I have listened to every episode from the beginning, and I love this podcast. I listened to the Shaun White conversation right before I had an interview for a type of story I don’t typically write, and the episode influenced me to approach the article in an interesting way. Thanks to the King, Jay and Shaun for that inspiration. As the only podcast I consistently listen to, I wait for it to drop and plan my morning routine around it. I always learn something and find myself sharing snippets with family and friends. Keep up the great work, Henrik and Jay. I look forward to more episodes. And to the King, congrats on your HOF induction. You earned it, and I am so grateful to have watched your career.

Great time so far

Enjoying so far!
I’m a long time NYR fan and Henrik is my fav athlete of all time so I was excited about this.
It’s not especially relatable, but not many people have much in common with Verizon’s CEO or A-Rod lol. Still neat to hear from them.
I think if I had to offer an idea I’d request an episode with just Henrik and Jay! Get some more insight on Henrik and get to know Jay a bit. The guests have all been great but we gotta know our hosts! The King is the reason I’m here after all❤️
