They’re BAAAAACK

After severe withdrawals, my favorite western New York hosts are back at it with camp, smut, and comedic sucker-punches. Thank god they’re back for more!

Wendy is okay, that’s about anything that we can celebrate. Joey still needs a qualified counsellor or whatever pharmacy treats could keep it calm. Joey still needs a personality transplant Sadly, this podcast has devolved into an insipid jumble of distorted audio (#356) and whatever facet of Joe's life he thinks is important. Donna tries to salvage the mess; however, without more voices like Wendy and Gary, the ship sinks quickly with the excess drivel. Save your time, eardrums (unless you want to hear the guy that screams about people breathing into the microphone as he chews an entire meal into your ears, #355), and general electron collection of your listening device. I recommend Pod is My Copilot instead. I also hope Donna returns to producing and airing her solo show, Big Silly Homo.
Delicious Anticipation

What more can one say? It's a delight to listen to this group dol out one great story after another, and weigh in on social issues and pop culture. A great podcast! Bravo.
Arrived.

Update 6/1/16: Most shows ebb and flow in their tenure. Typically, you find the value depreciates over time. This is not the case with C&CP. It has only become more entertaining. Each of the three co-hosts brings something charming, unique, nuanced, and tantalizing. I feel as though, after listening to them for the past 5 years or so, that they are my friends. Joey has a bluntness that could cut a diamond, Donna provides a charasmatic quirkiness that is unmatched, and Wendy is the heart and (old) soul that brings insight, levity, and class (a stretch) to each of their shows. Please keep up the good work and thank you for providing endless entertainment. Every morning I go to the gym and encounter the same monotony. The same elderly man has shorts that are too short, the lady at the front desk reeks of discontent, and the gaggle of "gym jerks" pass around their shared brain in an effort to see who can lift the most weight. In an effort to break out of this repetition- I ventured into the world of podcasts as a way to add some variety to this Groundhog Day. This is how I found Cocktails and Cream Puffs. You need to listen to this show. I watched someone drop a weight on their foot and scream out in pain. While people tended to this unfortunate person- I was in the background muffling laughter because I was deeply engrossed in one of the many hilarious banters occurring between co-hosts Joey, Gary, and Wendy. It takes a lot for a medium such as a podcast to transport you to another world. For a brief 45 minutes - 1 hour, this show allows you to sit back and enjoy sometimes wildly inappropriate, newsworthy, and deeply revealing stories. You will not be disappointed.
