    E233: Robert The Doll

    E233: Robert The Doll

Before the Hollywood dolls that haunt our dreams, there was one (not so) quietly closed in an attic in a Key West home causing quite a stir for anyone with whom he came into contact. As his notoriety has grown and with his placement in a permanent museum display, the reach of that contact has grown tremendously, as has the number of letters he receives from people pleading with him to release them from whatever curse he has placed upon them. This episode is the history of Robert the doll.

    E232: Jaidyn Leskie (Part 2)

In 1998, the entire country of Australia seemed gripped by the unfolding court case concerning a child who had gone missing the year prior. In 1997, nearly 14-month-old Jaidyn Leskie had gone missing while in the supervision of his mother's boyfriend. In a case with criss-crossing plot lines, twists and turns, and a cast of complex characters, many wondered whether justice for Jaidyn were even a remote possibility.

    E228: Dori Ann Myers

    E228: Dori Ann Myers

Dori Ann Myers was a skilled poker player. She knew how to make calculated decisions when the pressure was on. But she also had a soft spot for people, especially for those who made sacrifices for the good of others. Unfortunately, one of those people took advantage of Dori letting her guard down and of her not treating people with the same critical eye as she did cards. Someone came into her home in January 10th, 2006 and, when they left during the early morning hours of January 11th, they took Dori with them. Now it's law enforcement who are having to make calculated decisions in their attempts to solve her case.

Enjoyable

Truly enjoy the conversation between these two friends. I also like that they’re shining light on some unknown cases.

Great work.

Big Fan

I love listening to the show and appreciate the genuine friendship between the hosts. I am amazed at Allison’s memory. Every time Maggie brings up an old case, Allison identifies the victim by name (random tidbit, but something I’ve noticed as I’ve been making my way through every episode).
