    LinkedIn Profile Audits: Live

    The most common question I get asked is “Can you give me some feedback on my LinkedIn profile”? And you know what... it’s actually one of my favorite things to do, so I thought we’d open up this stream so we can all learn from each other together. This episode was very visual but I did my very best to make it podcast friendly! We had brave souls in the Coffee With Crew share links to their LinkedIn profiles while we audited them live together. We broke down what makes a good profile banner, how to draft an about section that’s interesting to read and if your profile header should be benefits or title focused. I gave specific advice for six profiles and in each one I tried to give some pointers that all can benefit from.     When I’ve spent all day making decisions the last thing I want to hear is another question. “What’s for dinner?” “Where’s my XYZ?” or “What do we have planned this weekend?” Can sometimes set me over the edge after a long day. This time of year there is a LOT of decisions to make both at work and at home which is why I loved Cheryl’s tips this week about how to make the best decisions, what frame works to use and how I can implement them immediately. Cheryl has written three books on decision making which means she has years of research and analysis on how we can influence good decisions. I loved her clarification questions like, “Who’s decision is this to make?” and “Who gets to dive you input into this decision?” Questions we all need to keep in mind over the holiday season! I loved her perspective on the different kind of problem solvers there are and the strengths and weaknesses with each.
