    The Nurse

Episode 98 (08/19/20): Regardless of who you are, we all have fears. For me? Not only do I have a fear of needles, but I have a fear of passing out from the anxiety that they bring. This last Saturday, not only was I required to receive an IV before surgery, I found myself in a situation where what I feared the most began to happen after receiving it. As I began to lose consciousness and the nurses rushed in, I found myself in a situation where my eyes were closed - yet my heart was opened to a deeper truth that was at work around me.

Episode 97 (08/13/20): As quickly as it takes for a bone to break, each and every day brings an opportunity for even the best-laid plans in our lives to turn completely upside down. Is there a color in the chaos when the chaos seems to destroy everything we once planned? Where is God when we go through seasons of detours & suffering in this life?

Heavy heart, though our hearts and bodies may be limping… there is color even when we find ourselves traveling through detours that we never would have chosen to journey through on our own.

    The Comparison Game

Episode 96 (08/05/20): In the present day, we are all subject to intense comparison. From social media to culture in general, we live in a world of platforms, podiums, stages, and spotlights all centered around constantly parading those with the crippling pressure of either having “it” or not. In this world of comparison, where can we breathe? Who are we in the aftermath of pressure to perform day-to-day? Looking at John 1:15, join us as we look at one sentence given to a father concerning his one day son which shines a spotlight on how our Creator, Savior, and Sustainer sees us even before we were conceived.

Great podcast and Jonah really speaks life and grace each time!
Easy to listen to and fun; flows well, though sometimes scattered, but Jonah is fully open and honest and genuine. This is rare to find in the world often.
